Last night Atlanta’s Star Bar was packed to its walls (i.e. a capacity crowd) with Atlanta hipsters, hangers-on, Little Five Points neighborhood folks, record store clerks, really normal looking college girls and a few other folks. The Lolligags and Jacksonville, Florida’s Black Kids played with Atlanta’s electro/keyboard-o/bizarro Judi Chicago and the whole thing went off without a hitch and was lots of fun.

Tonight, Black Kids and The Lolligags play Athens’ Flicker Theater and Bar. If you’re in Athens advance tickets are available at Wuxtry downtown and over half of them have already sold. And if anyone out there in Athens-land is wondering…nope, there’s no guest list tonight. Tickets are only $5 and it will be well worth it. If you’re the gambling type I guess you can wait and pay at the door but I wouldn’t risk it.

That’s all I really have to say about this. I’m pretty tired and today is going to be a very long one. This is, however, the last time I’m posting these Black Kids songs so grab ’em now.
