The Grammy’s have just earned another year of staving off irrelevancy by awarding Athens’ own Art Rosenbaum (along with Steven Lance Ledbetter of Dust-to-Digital and Michael Graves) the Grammy in the Historical Album category for Art of Field Recording: Volume 1: 50 year’s of Traditional American Music Documented by Art Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum is an Athens treasure, not to mention an American treasure, and this award is well deserved. (And Dust to Digital just released Volume II this past month.)
