It is with immense emotion that we sadly report the Georgia Theatre burned down this morning. There are a lot more questions than answers right now and we will do our best to keep the public informed as we learn more.

We appreciate all of the support that the great folks of Athens have provided and the additional messages received from wonderful patrons from around the world.

The amazing folks with Perpetual Groove are working their tails off. It is a pleasure to announce that Perpetual Groove will be performing a benefit concert at the Classic Center on Saturday, June 20. All tickets that were purchased for Friday and Saturday’s show at the Georgia Theatre will be honored. If you would still like to purchase a ticket, then CLICK HERE or go to the Classic Center box office. Doors are at 8pm and the show will start at 9pm.
