And…here it is. The debut of the 24 Hour Party Pooper Podcast. I don’t know anything about podcasting. I never worked in college radio or did anything like that. This is all done by the seat of my pants and was actually a lot of fun to do.
This initial “cast” has tracks from Lene Lovich, Nina Hagen, a demo from Wall of Voodoo, UT, Beat Happening, new tracks from Wrapping Paper and Bye Bye Bicycle and more. It’s about 1/2 an hour long which seems OK for the first time.
It’s got some popping “Ps” and some other slight sonic problems but I think it’s, overall, A-OK.

I think they say, “We’re back!” because the DJ has been reunited with the listening audience again, which hopefully consists of at least one person. That could be the narcotics talking though….
BTW, every time I look at the thumbnail for that Mr. Microphone video, I think it’s the Zapruder film.
